So I started taking a new course with my company. It's called RWA, better known as Radiant Woman Academy. This is pouring life into me as a woman. For so long, I have felt less than most women because I am not a mother or a wife. It has been a double-edged sword because it is something I have longed for since I was like 8 years old, and in reality, those things never came into fruition.
As I was watching the previous week's course yesterday, she started to validate something I have been feeling. I have been longing so deeply for connection. It has been hard. Here is what I posted in my takeaway for this week.
So the part about singlesness really spoke to me, and it's been hitting hard lately. I am dying for connection; it has been super lonely and isolating because people my age are busy as a family and have been longing so much for someone to connect with on a deeper level. So that kinda was part of a takeaway, even though the call was not about that. I have just been feeling so down and disconnected, and it feels like people I connect with leave and I never see them again, and it has been super hard on me. Doing life alone is not easy. And you made me feel better saying that its natural for as women to long for those connections.
When our founder and the person who wrote the course said this, I felt validated. I just feel like so much is tying in with one another. It has not been easy for me, but on the course.
Right now, we are on the pillar that talks about the home. And also some of the takeaways from previous weeks spoke to me. I will post three takeaways from each week so far.
Week 1 takeaways
• God created us not equal copies but equal in value
• Our bodies (Women) were meant to carry life
• Women carry life in many ways.
• You are not designed to be invisible; you were designed to be illuminance, radiant!
Week 2 takeaways
(I included more this week simply because I could not pick 3)
• There is a direct connection to between a messy home environment and mental health
• One of the most effective ways to rewire your brain is to set small, achievable goals and then complete those goals.
• One of the biggest ways to overcome the lie of procrastination is to break something bigger into something smaller and more manageable that is something you can complete. And do one of a time.
•Caring for the body and the home is part of stewarding what God has entrusted you /
• When we bring order into our physical environment, we are partnering with God to restore peace at a deeper level
• It is not about the cleaning or order that you create in your home, it's not about the act of it. It is about the fact that we are called to take dominion for our family, and God gave you a natural ability to create something out of nothing, create order out of chaos and to bring life and peace into any environment
Week 3 takeaways.
(I included more this week simply because I could not pick 3)
• With repetition and intentionality, you become who you wanna be.
• With repetition and intentionality, you can help others become who they thought they never could be.
• When we treat caring for our home as a holy act of worship, it changes the way we feel about it, and it opens the door for the miraculous to take place.
• The bible is filled with stories of stewardship and preparation before any blessing or any miracle
• Everything that we do, we are doing for the Lord first.
This course is just loaded with nuggets and awesome stuff. I need to write these points in a notebook so they stick better. I am behind on the homework, but will be doing it.
My company has done so much for me and has had so much growth, and I am excited to see the level I will be when I am done with this class.
If your not growing you are dying.
