Can't remain silent.

 

It has been a while again since I made a post and right now I can not remain silent on whats unfolding in our world.

As a follower of Christ, I can't sit back and say nothing, do nothing; I must speak up.

The tragic incident that unfolded this past week, with the killing of a woman, has left me in disbelief. And what's even more so is how governmental officials claim that they are a Christian nation. 

I am at my core a pacifist. I do not believe war is justified. I can't help this is who I am. I also feel long gone our the days of engaging in civil conversation. People make the event saying that Renee Good was wrong. My heart breaks for the number of families being torn apart for what so many claim to be God's work.

I don't know what God you are worshiping, but the God I serve would not be telling people to kill mothers, to separate families, to run a country with terror. The principles on which the country was built are no longer. The American dream is DEAD. If you are white, you stand a chance; being asian, indian, Latino or any other ethnicity, you are not welcome in the US. The terror needs to stop.

I saw what unfolded, so yeah, the other side maybe they should not have been deliberately making comments, but the other side is not innocent. We live in world where if someone dislikes what you say or how you look you get killed. Unfortunately, it was an abuse of power. 

Those sided with what happened can say all they want I know what I saw. I saw two videos, and if it were someone on the street who shot and killed someone because of what was described above, they would go to jail and be convicted. I do not understand. Its as if the group that conducted the shooting is holy or something.

US has become a place where you are free to be a believer in Christ but it is not a Christian nation. Christ would not approve of your actions. Yes, he would call you into repentance, and there still is an opportunity for everyone as long as they see another day to repent of their actions, thoughts, words, etc.

I am baffled that so many claim to be Christian but they do things to a brother or sister in Christ. So much hypocrisy and it saddens me. This world is losing humanity.

People will say anything to justify violence, and I am pretty sure God would not want us to use violence against one another. It's like the Cain and Abel story. I see it happening over and over and over again.

It's sad that now people claim to be Christian yet kill people, slander people, tear families apart, and claim to be sons and daughters of Christ. I am so sick to my stomach and I fear what will happen next.

This world so desperately needs Jesus, and now more than ever, those committing atrocities, they so desperately need Jesus because all I see is evil in their hearts.

I pray for a better world, I pray for Jesus to soon return, I pray for the violence to end. People should not feel unsafe to leave their homes or to go to sleep at night. Too many people have died and they justify what they are doing as correct. God help us because evil is winning.

I don't believe you can kick out a Latino and claim to love God at the same time because the proof of your love for God comes from how you treat one another. If you can't love a fellow human, how can you love God?

I think this all boils down to how so many have created this image of Jesus, who he is not. People are worshiping a false Jesus, one that has a gun, is white and would harm another life.

The proof is in the results. You can't say all the things and harm life and consider yourself to be a follower of Christ. Because Christ would not kill someone because they thought differently. Christ would not ignore the hungry; he would feed them. Christ would extend his hand and help those in a different position from his own.

I don't know what's going to happen, and I know God is with us, but I just can't remain silent. What's all happening is pure evil, and it's no different than what Hitler did. 

Like a posting I saw, history is not repeating itself; it just changed uniforms. 

God help us all and I pray that the holy spirit helps to awaken people and we repent and change our ways.
